- CEDAR, Central European Environmental Data Request Facility - CEDAR is a service of the International Society for Environmental Protection which aims to make environmental information and regulations accessible electronically; founded by the Austrian government, it is also supports programs of the UN Environment Program.
- CIESIN, Center for International Earth Science Information Network - based at Columbia Univ., serves as a clearinghouse for databases on environment and global change.

- RFF-Weathervane (climate treaty) - An online journal covering the climate treaty negotiaions and global warming issues generally; provided by Resources for the Future, a US thinktank working on environmental issues.
- JI Online -- U.S. Initiative on Joint Implementation - A US government-utility industry project to encourage "joint implementation" as a way of meeting climate treaty reduction targets.
- International Emissions Trading Association; a non-profit group organized by companies to promote market trading of greenhouse gas emissions. Provides some analysis of issues related to the Kyoto Protocol, and lists emissions trading schemes in the works in various countries and directly among companies.
